Atlanta Bankruptcy Attorney, Will B. Geer
There is no doubt that you have a lot of choices in Atlanta when it comes to hiring a bankruptcy attorney. In fact, you probably came across numerous other bankruptcy attorneys’ websites in your efforts to find the right lawyer to help you through this difficult time in your life. So, why should you hire me? Because I can help you. I can empathize with you and understand the financial problems you have going on in your life. I specialize in the tough cases that no one else wants to take.
In my youth, I experienced my fair share of financial stress. It’s not fun, and I know it’s not fun for you either. My job is to use my extensive knowledge of the bankruptcy code and Georgia state law to help you or your business out of debt and into a better financial future. I strive to make the process as uncomplicated and as painless as possible. When you hire me, your problems become my problems, and my hope is that you sleep better at night knowing that you have someone in your corner to help you through one of the most stressful times in your life.
I received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Economics from Valdosta State University where I graduated Valedictorian of the Harley Langdale College of Business. I received my law degree from Mercer University School of Law, graduating in the Top 25% of my class.
Right out of law school, I had the privilege of clerking for the Honorable John T. Laney, III, the Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Middle District of Georgia. At the end of my clerkship, I worked in a large downtown Atlanta law firm representing creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy. After spending over a year on the other side of the table, I decided to take my knowledge and pursue my passion of representing consumer and corporate debtors in bankruptcy cases in the metro Atlanta area, including all cases in the Gainesville, Newnan, and Rome federal courts.
I am admitted to practice in the state courts of Georgia and in the federal courts of the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia. I am also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. Why is this important? Because it ensures that I am keeping up to date on the latest happenings in the bankruptcy universe so I can better represent you.
I have two beautiful daughters, Sophia and Avery, with my wonderful wife, Jodi. My favorite things are spending time with my family, training my not-so-smart but lovable dog, Finn, and working out, when time permits. I have also been known to play a diddly or two on the guitar.
